Sharp Circle Band

Born in Warren, Ohio and raised in Western Pennsylvania, Pete started playing guitar at age 10 so he could sing Paul Simon songs to his family.  pc (yes, he prefers the small letters) was in bands playing lead guitar from 8th grade on, even playing in a cover band in 1983 with Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, also from the same Pennsylvania county.  pc graduated from Capital University in 1989 with degrees in Commercial Music and English Literature.

He's been playing in bands in Columbus ever since that time and figures he's played at least one time in every club in Central Ohio.  He works by day as an attorney in the Franklin County court system, representing children in delinquency cases and acting as a guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children.  He lives with his wife Jen and their three young boys on the north end of the city, where he busily types the Sharp Circle "Gig Blog" to preserve the band's travels in weblog form.

pc released an album of all-original music in late 2007 called In My Hands.  The album features musicians from Sharp Circle and other local bands such as ÜberGroove, New Basics Brass Band, Honk, Wail & Moan and Hoodoo Soul Band.  The songs run the gamut from funky Soul to Blues to straight-up Rock & Roll and they can be purchased at iTunes.  If you have iTunes on your computer, click the button below to go the iTunes page for In My Hands.  You can also buy a copy at any Sharp Circle Band show.
