Sharp Circle Band

Having known most of the members of Sharp Circle since day one of college at Capital University, Scott has enjoyed making music with his friends for the past 7 years.  A member of choral choirs his whole life, it took quite a bit of convincing to persuade Cory and Jason that he had the chops to be a full fledged front man.  After years of waiting in the wings they finally gave him the chance he wanted and none of them have looked back since.

Growing up in a constantly singing family, Scott began his musical career at the age of 4.  Starting in church and school choirs, Scott realized early on that music came naturally to him, and he loved doing it.  Taking piano and voice lessons from the age of 8 all the way through college, music has played a major role in Scott’s life.  He sang in choir and played every brass instrument available to him through middle and high school.  After high school he was accepted to the Conservatory of Music at Capital University as a Music Industry major, where he studied voice under Jacquelin Barlow-Ware and Lynn Roseberry.  He was also a 4 year member of the prestigious Capital University Chapel Choir, singing under Dr. Lynda Hasseler.  During that time he participated in master classes with many notable conductors and composers such as Anton Armstrong (conductor of the world renown St. Olaf choir, and modern composer Eric Whitacre on numerous pieces).

Initially Scott wanted to be a recording engineer, but soon fell in love with the world of television and film.  After graduating with a degree in Radio, TV & Film and a Minor in Music, Scott began working at a local production studio.  Now working in Grandview, Scott spends his days making TV commercials and his nights playing music with his friends.  He is immensely proud of the years of work he and the other members of Sharp Circle have put in over the years paying their dues in the Columbus music scene.  He loves playing music with his friends and feels privileged that he gets to sing in front of such a talented group of musicians.  Scott encourages you to come out and see Sharp Circle live and dance the night away with one of the best party bands in Columbus!
